Daytrips, so for one day only are usually asked from guests who are in Labuan Bajo. There are a lot of waterfalls south east of Labuan Bajo, however some of them difficult to reach.

Note that not all of the mentioned POI's can be visited in one day. The blue marked are the most popular and most visited. The yellow marked are off the beaten track and worth a visit to my opinion.
Rangko cave is best to visit between 1 and 3 pm for the best light.
A good combination could be Cunca Wulang in the morning and Rangko cave in the afternoon. Sano Nggoang is a beautiful lake but though to get to because of the bad road. You will need a fwd or at
least a Toyota Fortuner but even then it will take easily up to 3 hours. If you are experienced maybe even better by motorbike.
In case you have time to explore the area around Ruteng there are a few nice options. Ruteng and surrounding is blessed with incredible green environment, which also means it often rains. The highest peaks of Flores are near Ruteng and if you go either north. east, south or west all roads are nice.
